By engaging in our services, you agree to the Client Care & Policy Agreement below.

To help us provide the best care possible for your furry friend, please take a moment to read and agree to our grooming policies. This ensures a happy, safe, and stress-free experience for everyone!

Vaccinations

To keep all our furry guests healthy and safe, we require all pets to be fully up-to-date with their vaccinations before their visit.

Safety & Temperament

Your pet’s safety—and ours—is our top priority. You must inform us if your pet has a history of biting or shows aggression during specific grooming tasks. If needed, we may use a comfortable muzzle for everyone’s protection. We reserve the right to stop a groom if a pet becomes a danger to themselves or our team. In these cases, an Aggressive Dog Fee may apply in addition to the regular service price.

Anxious Pups

If your dog gets nervous or stressed during grooming, please let us know! Understanding their triggers (and any calming products they are using) helps us move at their pace. If a dog’s anxiety makes the groom significantly more difficult or time-consuming, an extra fee may apply to ensure we can give them the extra patience they need.

Matted Coats

We always put "Humanity over Vanity." Severe matting can be painful and even dangerous for a pet’s skin. If a coat is heavily matted, we may need to shave it for your pet's comfort. Please be aware that shaving a matted coat carries a higher risk of nicks or skin irritation. Because of the extra time, tool wear, and care required, there is an extra charge for matted dogs. Any veterinary care resulting from a pre-existing matted condition will be the owner's responsibility.

Double Coat Shave-Downs

Shaving a double-coated dog is a big decision! While we will do our best to make them look great, please understand that:

● We cannot guarantee the coat will grow back with the same texture or color.

● Shaving doesn't stop shedding (it just makes the hair shorter) and can actually make it harder for your dog to regulate their temperature.

● Your dog may be more prone to sunburn or skin irritation. By signing, you acknowledge these risks and give us the go-ahead to proceed.

Health & Senior Pets

We treat every senior pet or dog with medical conditions with extra gentleness. However, grooming can be tiring for older pups. While we prioritize their comfort above all else, Noosa Dog Grooming Co. cannot be held responsible for complications arising from age or pre-existing medical issues.

Safety First (Accidents)

We work with sharp tools and wiggly animals! While we take every precaution, minor nicks or scratches can occasionally happen. If an accident occurs, we will inform you immediately. If emergency vet care is needed, we will arrange transport; however, costs related to temperament, matting, or pre-existing conditions remain the owner's responsibility.

Cancellations & Timing

To keep our schedule running smoothly for everyone, we require 24 hours' notice for cancellations.

● No-shows/Late Cancels: 100% of the service fee applys.

● Late Arrivals: If you are more than 15 minutes late, a $30 fee may apply.

Late Pick-ups: Since we aren't a boarding facility, a $50 charge applies if your pet isn't collected by the agreed time.
